Warwickshire 2024 Youth Elections - vote now!

Stratford Upon Avon

There are 5 candidates in the Stratford Upon Avon area:

S Loosmore, 17

Issues that are important to me include making schools a safe space for trans and Neurodivergent children as well as having a greater focus on mental health for teenagers! I promise to prioritise communication with young people and to platform their needs!

Christian D, 15

I have a great interest in the service of young people in the local area and in politics. I believe that the approximately 5000 young people lack involvement in the system that governs them. Another issue close to my heart is the deprivation of young peoples access to mental health services which I seek to stand up to and the shocking amount of under 25s who are homeless or rough sleeping.

Aarav D, 16

"Politics are too serious a matter to be left to the politicians” Something we can all agree on.  With a general election upcoming, I will ensure that our issues won’t be ignored in political discussions. Issues like: protecting leisure spaces, need for practical (real-world focused) education, and the mental-health crisis.

Aditi, 16

I champion education equality, because knowledge knows no boundaries. I'll advocate for initiatives to combat homelessness, providing support and resources for those in need. I am committed to promoting women's safety and fostering a community where every woman feels secure and empowered. Warwickshire should be a place where education, shelter, and safety are universal rights, not privileges.

Isaac H, 16

If elected, I will represent those who feel voiceless. I am eager to ensure a high quality learning environment for all students throughout Warwickshire. I am equally passionate about the environment especially on a local scale as it is necessary to protect local wildlife and ecosystems.
