Warwickshire Youth Elections 2026

Voting is now open and runs from 2 February to 27 February 2026!

What are the Warwickshire Youth Elections?

The Warwickshire Youth Elections are an opportunity for 11-17 year olds who live or go to school/college in Warwickshire to become a member of the Warwickshire Youth Council and represent the views of local young people. 

Local young people have been nominating themselves to stand and your chance to vote opens soon! 

To vote you must be aged between 11 - 17

For the elections Warwickshire has been split into areas - North, East and South. 

  • North Warwickshire includes Nuneaton, Bedford and Atherstone.
  • East Warwickshire includes Rugby and the surrounding villages.
  • South Warwickshire includes Warwick, Leamington and Stratford.

Ready to vote? Here's how...

1 - Read each candidate's manifesto.

2 - Make a note of who you want to vote for - you can vote for 3 people.

3 - Vote by filling in the online form. You can vote for people from different areas.

4 - On the voting form, choose 3 issues that are most important to you that need improving.

And that's it!

Please don't vote for the same person more than once - your votes will only be counted as one vote.
